At Garden Party Teas we constantly strive to offer the best possible customer service. You will be delighted
to discover that your order will most likely be shipped from our stockrooms within 36 hours. Often times we are able to offer expedited shipping if
your situation demands it.
Our system will automatically charge you postage for standard shipping. If you want the order expedited, make
note of it in the comments field on the check out page. We will put your order together, weigh and calculate postage, and call to advise you
of the additional cost.
Back-Orders
Most of the products on this web site are inventory controlled preventing you from purchasing more items than are in stock. Open stock items do not carry this control. And while we try to have sufficient quantities, very occasionally an item will not be in stock in sufficient quantities to fill an order. Should this occur, you will be notified within 24 hours. We will work with you to assure your satisfaction supplying you with a restocking date, suggesting alternatives, or offering a refund.
Shipping Method
Most orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The Post Office indicates 2 to 3 days for delivery using this method. We do not make guarantees
for their delivery times but have generally found the service to be excellent.
About 15% of the orders we receive are shipped via FedEx (and occasionally UPS). This method is used when the amount paid for shipping is
insufficient to cover the cost of Priority Mail. Determining factors are distance, weight, and package size. If you believe that your order may be shipped FedEx or
UPS, please supply a physical address (not a P.O. Box).

Shipping Destinations
Apartments and Office Buildings: Packages shipped to apartments and offices will require a signature.
APO and FPO addresses: We deeply appreciate the sacrifices made by our military families and government worker overseas and are happy to ship to these address.
Kentucky Residents: Ky law requires that we collect tax, both on the shipping charges and the purchase price of any taxable items.
Our system adds the shipping tax to the shipping charge. The tax on the actual product will appear as a separate line item.
Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories: Our graduated rate for shipping (as shown above) will be automatically added to your purchase. Purchases made outside of the 48 contiguous United States are subject to actual delivery charges. If the additional shipping cost is under $15, we reserve the right to debit your credit card for the balance of those costs. If the shipping charges exceed $15.00, we will email you with actual costs and wait for your approval before debiting your card and shipping your product(s).

Shipping Rates
When making your purchase, you will automatically be charged for shipping based on the total dollar amount of your purchase. However, purchases made outside of the 48 contiguous United States are subject to actual delivery charges. We will package your purchase and calculate the cost. If the additional shipping cost is under $15, we reserve the right to debit your credit card for the balance of those costs. We will email you to notify you of the additional charge to your card.
If the additional shipping charges exceed $15.00, we will email you with actual costs and wait for your approval before debiting your card and shipping your product(s). It is extremely important that you check your email within 36 hours after making a purchase to avoid shipping delays. We will not ship your order until you respond advising us of the shipping method you prefer and grant us permission to debit your card.
Every country has different regulations. We try our best to assure compliance and will notify you if we are unable to ship a particular item to your destination.
Customs fees, if levied by your country, are the responsibility of the recipient.

Split Shipments
Our system enables you to purchase gifts to be sent to four different addresses! Specify addresses for items to be mailed if different from customer's address. Please note that you will be charged shipping/handling per address given.
Shipping of Sadler Teapots and Mugs
Teapots and other porcelain products from the United Kingdom will
be shipped via airmail. You can expect to receive your teapot within 7 to 10
days. Airmail delivery has proven to be very reliable and safe. U.S. customs
forms will be completed with the cost of the teapot minus shipping.
Any Import Duty, if levied, is the responsibility of the customer.
We have
tried to describe the teapots and mugs to the best of our abilities. If you are not
happy with the teapot you receive from the United Kingdom, we will gladly
refund your purchase price if the item is returned to us in new, unused condition.
The teapots
are very well packed and problems are rare. You will be very pleased with the
packing as well as the quality of your purchase.
