Set of Six Burgess and Campbell Ironstone China Plates
This set of six beautiful plates were made by Burgess and Campbell. We have limited information on the Burgess and Campbell Ironstone China company. We believe this ironstone china to have been made in the United States in the late 1800's or the early 1900's. Perhaps a more knowledgeable reader will correct us if this information is not right.
The plates are crazed and two of them each have a small chip on the underside. Nevertheless, they remain beautiful pieces. The gold gilding on the rim is 1/4 inches wide and only shows slight wear considering the age of these plates. (See more information below.)
