Pier 1 Imports was the original retailer of this unique set of four matching luncheon plates. An interesting color combination of sage green and metallic copper form the background for a hand painted, botanical pattern using black, shades of green, and burgundy.

They measure 8 1/2 inches across and are marked as dishwasher safe. These plates cannot be used in the microwave. They are in the bottom half of the original box and we do not believed that they were ever used. All of the plates are in excellent condition except the plate in the image below. It has a couple of minute places where the paint on the back is scratched.

These plates are so beautiful that we originally thought that they were for decorative use only. And they certainly would look beautiful on a wall. Bonus to find out that they can actually be used!
